Building Paulus

In 2017, Paulus began working with composer and musical director Jordan Clarke on a project entitled ‘Building Paulus’. At their first cabaret performance together at The Pheasantry, London, Paulus’ usual use of cover songs was interrupted with just one original song penned by the pair, entitled ‘I Don’t Want’ (an homage to Paulus’ love of the music of Victoria Wood).

The next time the pair performed together, a violinist and percussionist had been added and four of the songs were now originals, and a mini-tour of Kent, Wales & London followed for the four of them soon after.

Fast-forward to early 2020, and Jordan & Paulus have now written an entire score to a 12-song cycle with storyline, which they are hesitating to call a musical…

The signature song from this project is entitled TRIBE and we share it hear, with pride.

Tribe has already been seen my hundreds of people live and thousands online, so much so that demand for the sheet music had become overwhelming, which is why we are happy to give you the chance to purchase that here too.
