Whether in shiny jackets and patent leather shoes; badge-loving Ringmaster garb; or adrodgynous drag redolent of the 1920s, Paulus’ rapier wit and powerhouse vocals have delighted audiences world-wide, including Rome, Paris, Berlin and New York. In the UK, he has raised the roof at Knebworth; indig02; Hippodrome Casino (Talk of the Town); Madame Jo-Jo’s (as Trinity Million) and even The Copperbox at the Olympic Park.
A BBC1 ‘hard-to-impress’ judge
On television, Paulus has mentored retired entertainers with Mary Portas for C4, judged look-a-like singers for Sky Living and, most notably, was the hard-to-impress judge on two series of the BBC1 award-winning singing show ‘All Together Now’
A Compère fit for Royalty and Global Events
Paulus’ Ringmaster host has presided over national events like the Queens Diamond Jubilee in Battersea Park; The Olympics Closing Ceremony in 2012; five years as compère for the Ukulele Festival of Scotland and recurring host for the award-winning Festival of Thrift.
